The SPARC Open Education Leadership program prepares library professionals to lead open education initiatives. Denise Dimsdale, a 2019 graduate of the SPARC program discusses how the program helped her develop as a leader and build relationships across multiple campuses at Georgia State University. She will discuss her capstone projects including: Leading a multi-campus task force to promote Open Education Week; Creating a promotional booklet; Working with GSU’s Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning to plan faculty learning communities at GSU’s Atlanta and Clarkston campuses.
